Are you interested in becoming a member? We can't wait for you to join. Whether you're a parent, student, or teacher, the Kentwood Community PTSA is open for anyone in the Kentwood community.

Becoming a member of the Kentwood Community PTSA is only $15 for individuals, $12 for teachers, and $10 for students. Along with the satisfaction of supporting the oldest and largest volunteer child advocacy association in Washington State, you will also receive discounts and perks from many business organizations such as Silverwood and Office Depot.

So you're probably wondering where your membership fees goes? Well luckily for you, they don't just magically disappear. That would be odd. By joining the Kentwood Community PTSA, your membership fees help support these programs:

What are the benefits of joining PTSA?
Just because you joined the Kentwood PTSA doesn't mean you can't get benefits. There's a wide variety of incentives that are offered from joining the Kentwood PTSA. We offer membership reward discounts from:

What do we accomplish here at the KW PTSA?
Besides building community at Kentwood, below are some of our special projects we assist. If you find a project that needs our help, feel free to contact us anytime.
KAC Clothing Bank
Open on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 6 - 8 pm at Kent Phoenix Academy in the former Boys' Locker Room, the KAC Clothing Bank helps serves families in need from the Kent School District. KW PTSA volunteers and makes a monetary donation each year to the Clothing Bank.

KAC Cinderella Project
A project designed to loan young ladies and gentlemen within the Kent School District area, formal and semi-formal wear to attend school dances.

Staff Appreciation
KW PTSA's year round Staff Appreciation Committee along with volunteers provide dinners, lunch, breakfast, holiday goodies, & more for our hardworking staff.

Grad Night
Organized by KW PTSA volunteers, Grad Night is an alcohol & drug free event held for the graduating senior class.

Spirit Wear
Hoodies, crews, sweats, PJ pants, t-shirts, scarves, and other assorted items with the Kentwood name. Proceeds from spirit wear sales help fund the Kentwood Senior scholarship program.

Each year, KW PTSA provides a limited number of scholarships for graduating seniors beginning their freshman year of post-secondary education in the United States.

Reflections
A National PTA arts competition created with the purpose of providing opportunities for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves. Students express themselves through dance, literature, film, photography, and other original works they have created.
